We make registering a Lasting Power of Attorney simple and stress-free.
Libra Partnership understands how confusing and stressful it can be to register a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA).
We offer a comprehensive and fully inclusive service to support you and your loved ones throughout the entire process of applying for a Lasting Power of Attorney for Health and Welfare, and/or Property and Financial Affairs, depending on your needs.
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legal document that allows a person (the donor) to appoint one or more trusted people (the attorneys) to make decisions on their behalf.
There are two types of LPA:
A Lasting Power of Attorney for Health and Welfare allows you to appoint someone to be involved in decisions that can include where you live, who visits you, the type of care you receive and whether to consent or refuse life-sustaining treatment if you cannot make these decisions by yourself.
A Lasting Power of Attorney for Property and Financial Affairs allows you to appoint someone to be involved in decisions that can include buying, selling, renovating, or renting your property, managing your bank accounts and investments, paying your bills, or purchasing personal items you may need if you are unable to do this for yourself.
